Event Rules & Parking/Shuttle Info

It is a 21 & up ONLY EVENT. BRING YOUR ID! It will be checked at the gate.
BRING IN….Blankets, tarps & lawn chairs for the ground are welcomed in designated areas only. The fest reserves the right to ask you to move if you locate in an area that would block emergency vehicles or if you create a blockage problem for another fest attendee. See below for items that you may not bring.
Take advantage of our fabulous food vendors! General Admission tickets and Non-Sponsor tables MAY NOT bring in your own water/sodas, coolers, picnic baskets or food to this event. We will have a wide variety of food options for you to choose from and water/soda will also be available for purchase.
Private Party Chalets, Premium Tables, VIP Early Bird & Sponsors that enter thru VIP Gate are able to bring in their own water bottles. Chalets & Sponsor/Premium Tables are the only groups that are allowed to bring in outside food or they can order catering from Smithfield Station.
The proceeds of this event benefit local organizations.
PARKING INFO: Plenty of close parking is available at the site, easily a 1-2 minute walk to the gates. If you need assistance, we have golf carts that will give you a ride to the gate. Just look around and wave down one of our golf carts if you would like a ride. They are constantly patrolling the parking areas.
Private Party Chalets, VIP Early Bird Tix and Small Business Sponsorships do get VIP Parking Passes. Premium/Sponsor Tables do not get VIP Parking.
There is handicapped parking designated.
To the Event: Hotel Guests Only - We provide free shuttle service, courtesy of Tysinger Automotive Group and I-Ride Vans, to the event for guests staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites or the Smithfield Inn & Tavern. All guests at Smithfield Station can walk to the event but if you need a ride, please let the front desk know we will come pick up at the Station also if needed.
Don't want to drink & drive after the fest?
We encourage EVERYONE to be safe & have a post-fest transportation plan.
We do have post event FREE shuttles, both from Tysinger & also our local IRIDE vans, for hotel guests and all fest attendees going to local locations.
They will take you to local hotels, restaurants, or your local neighborhood. The scope of their service is basically Wrenns Mill area, downtown Smithfield, Cypress Creek, Gatling Pointe, Eagle Harbor, Founders Pointe, Wellington Estates, Moonfield, Aspen Woods, and a few more. Please be kind to our drivers! They will not deliver you to your doorstep, but will get you to your neighborhood.
Leave your car! Get someone to drop you off and/or pick you up.
There is a designated pull-off for drops off, just let our VFW Parking Attendants know and they will direct you. You can also leave your car, We are not responsible for cars left overnight, but they will NOT be towed.
CONSIDER GETTING A ROOM:
(Click here for hotels). Smithfield Station is an easy walk! And we do provide free shuttle service to/from all local hotels, Smithfield Inn and the Hampton Inn & Suites.
Enjoy our town's other happenings - After the Festival, most restaurants/bars have specials! Many are within walking distance of the festival.
PLEASE DON'T DO THESE….
No Children/Babies! This event is for adults (21&up) only - there are no activities for children.
No pets! Sorry, but this is not an appropriate venue for pets.
No tents, grills, personal tables, large beach style umbrellas or pop-ups!
No open containers of alcohol in/out of the fest!
No outside food, coolers or picnic baskets. Private Chalets & Sponsor tables are the only exceptions to this.
OTHER GENERAL INFO
SVAE reserves the right to limit space in order to accommodate all patrons and to provide safe access through the festival grounds.
Reserved tables and chalet areas will be limited to the table settings provided by Fest. No additional personal chairs and/or tables will be permitted in this area for the safety and enjoyment of our patrons.
Ticket holders, including DD Tickets, must be 21 years of age to enter event/purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Proper identification is required. Once you enter event, tickets are non-transferable.
REFUND POLICY: Tickets are non-refundable, and event is Rain/Shine, so dress for the weather! We do carry catastrophic event cancellation insurance, so in the event of a natural disaster like a hurricane, we will be processing refunds, but have to wait for our insurance check. This can take up to 6 months - - but don't worry, we WILL process you a refund.
No animals, except hearing /seeing-dog animals and service/dog animals or animals utilized in law enforcement, are permitted in the festival site.
Methods of Payment: We accept cash & credit cards. There is an ATM on site also.
Festival is held rain or shine. No refunds.
In addition, please remember to drink responsibly…and make a plan for post-transportation.
BACON, TASTINGS & SALES OF DRINK TICKETS END AT 4:00.
BACON CONDIMENTS and SALES OF BREW & WINE END AT 4:30.
EVENT IS OVER AT 5:00. Please drink responsibly and make plans for post event transportation.
Skates, skateboards and bicycles are not permitted in the park.
For the safety of all, the Event Gate Staff & Smithfield Police may check bags and persons entering/exiting the park.
Fest reserves the right to postpone, cancel and/or evacuate events due to adverse weather conditions.
